14th/15th Street Reconstruction Project
This project was a complete reconstruction of the arterial streets leading into the main hub, and entrance to OSU’s campus. The work consisted of design and construction of new streets, intersections, sewers, traffic signals, curb and gutters, historical street lights, tunnel reconstruction, sidewalks, landscaping, and irrigation. This area is considered the “gateway” to campus, and special highlighted concrete, masonry, architectural features, and lighting was included. The project budget was $2.85M. Mr. Blair provided the principal role for the project, including intergovernmental agency coordination, project management, civil engineering design, design team management, and construction management. The design team disciplines included civil engineering, landscape architects, structural engineering, traffic engineering, and electrical engineering. The project came in below budget. The project owners are Oregon State University and the City of Corvallis.
